My Holy Grail Makeup Products

We all have those beauty products that we could never live without. The second they start to hit pan or dry up, we must run to the nearest Sephora to repurchase. I have complied a list of my Holy Grail makeup products I could never live without and every person needs.

Nars Blush in Orgasm I splurged on this item two years ago and it has been the only blush I need. It can be applied with a light sweep for a natural look or it can be built up for a glam look.  This color is perfect on every skin tone and I'm pretty sure never runs out.

Anastasia Brow Wiz I don't have a clue how my brows ever existed before this product. From an everyday look to making your brows look on point, it never fails. Recently, I heard a suggestion that said to purchase this product one shade lighter than your natural brow color that way it outlines and defines without looking drawn on. With mine running out soon, this is definitely what I will be trying next. This is even a product I have convinced my mom to fall in love with.

CoverGirl Clump Crusher Mascara is Very Black I have probably purchased six of these since the product was released several years ago. It is the perfect mascara and for the perfect price. It lengthens my lashes and, as it promises, there is never a clump in sight.

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper This is a game changer. As a hooded eye girl and lover of liquid liner, I always had the problem of my liner smudging onto my lids and melting off. Once this liner is applied it is on until you don't want it there any more. The line can be thin and barely there or built up for the perfect bold cat eye. Try this product; you'll thank me later.

Naked Basics pallet by Urban Decay It may be basic but it is not boring. This pallet is everything you need. Perfect for everyday eye looks and even good for a more dramatic eye. All the Naked pallets are excellent, but this one is an absolute necessity. This has made the perfect gift for several friends because the colors work on everyone. I may even say it is the no fail pallet.

Fall Must-Haves

Fall is my favorite season for countless reasons, but the main reason is definitely the fashion! I don't think there is anything better than cozy knits, layers, and boots. I have compiled some of my necessities for perfect fall fashion.

Plaid Poncho // Tights // Riding Boots // Suede Skirt // Turtleneck

Plaid Poncho Last weekend, I walked into Old Navy, saw this plaid poncho, and almost cried. To say I am obsessed with it is an understatement. Sadly, it is not cold enough in North Carolina to wear it yet, but the time is coming! Ponchos and capes are a great way to layer any fall ensamble and still look chic. I suggest belting them to help define your waist and keep it looking polished.

Tights I have more pairs of tights than I can count. They dress up any outfit instantly and help transform dresses into more practical, cool weather outfits. These plaid ones are great for spicing up a solid color dress. Another favorite of mine are tights in bold colors. For fall, great colors for tights are orange, red, and emerald green.

Riding Boots It is safe to assume that we have come to the point in the riding boot trend that it is self explanatory. They are the greatest fall staple. I recently got the Frye Melissa Button boots, and they are just perfection. I prefer boots that are flat and sleek (no zippers or embellishments). These are just the ones that fit my criteria!

Suede Skirt Talk about a fall trend; suede is THE fall trend. It brings in the right amount of warmth, 70s inspired, cognac colored fall perfection that I love. This skirt seems to be everywhere this season and I can see why. It can be warn with ankle booties and looks great with tights and tailored jackets.

Turtlenecks Last year, my main style inspiration was Ali MacGraw in Love Story. Can you blame me?! She is the perfect amount of collegiate classy and 70s sassy. Turtlenecks are a staple in her style. Black turtlenecks quickly became a favorite of mine. They go well with tweed blazers, wool peacoats, and long necklaces. I can't wait to pull mine out for the upcoming fall weather!

What are your must-haves this fall?
